🗞 News
SuperRare Considers RARE Staking
SuperRare Labs has proposed RARE Staking, which aims in part to enhance decentralized curation. The system involves users staking on each other to signal reputation and support, creating a peer-to-peer network that generates an open dataset for participant reputation. They are seeking feedback on the program’s implementation, and they provide resources such as a whitepaper, code repository, and alpha application for users to explore and contribute.
ApeCoin DAO Debates Airdrop for Forum Contributors
ApeCoin forum regular 0xSword has proposed the distribution of 10,000 Apecoin to approximately 200 active forum participants who have significantly contributed to the development and success of Apecoin within its first year. Eligibility for this airdrop is determined by specific criteria, including attaining a level 2 user rank on the forum. The purpose of the proposal is to recognize and reward the dedicated contributors of the DAO community, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation for continued engagement. The estimated overall cost of the airdrop is approximately 2.1 million Apecoin, including the creation of a smart contract and the launch of a claim mechanism. The debate has been active and robust; the proposal looks to be on the path to an eventual Snapshot vote.
Rabbit Hole Introduces Quest Terminal to Improve Token Distribution
Rabbit Hole has launched Quest Terminal, a new solution to address issues with traditional token distributions. The current approach of retroactive one-time airdrops leads to unsustainable growth and favors insiders over the community, Rabbit Hole CEO Brian Flynn says. Quest Terminal provides a permissionless quest protocol that tracks onchain actions and distributes ERC20 rewards, along with an aggregator of quests and an interface for deploying and monitoring quests. This decentralized approach aims to enable fair and community-driven token distributions, with quests being deployed directly to Rabbit Hole and other interfaces that integrate the Quest SDK.

Aave: ARFC - GHO Mainnet Launch
This proposal suggests launching GHO, an Aave native stablecoin, with two initial facilitators: the Aave V3 Ethereum Facilitator and the FlashMinter Facilitator. If approved, users of Aave V3 will be able to mint GHO against their collateral. The proposal outlines the parameters and functionalities of the facilitators and highlights the decentralized management of GHO's financial framework by the Aave DAO. Following final feedback, the proposal will proceed to the AIP phase for voting, and a multi-chain strategy will be proposed to the community after GHO's launch.
Aave: Gas Rebate for Recognized Delegates
This proposal introduces a mechanism to reimburse gas fees for recognized delegates who vote on-chain on Aave. The motivation behind this proposal is to address the increasing cost of on-chain governance and incentivize active engagement, fostering a more diverse voter base while retaining top delegates. The specification outlines the claiming process, the use of an open-source script to determine gas fees, and the proposal of using wETH as the Gas Rebate Token.
Rocket Pool: University Node Operators & Governance Delegates Program
The program proposed here aims to onboard universities as node operators and governance delegates. The program seeks funding to support the establishment of Rocketpool nodes at universities, engaging students in node operation, governance decisions, and educational content creation. The program's benefits include increased educational resources for individuals looking to stake ETH for rETH, new guides for running a Rocketpool node, improved resources for existing node operators, and enhanced community participation.
Safe: June 2023 Vote to Enable Token Transferability
This post suggests enabling the transferability of the SAFE token, which has been locked since its initial claiming period. The author argues that token transferability is necessary for participation in governance and that the current milestones set for enabling transferability are not practical. The proposal presents two options for the community to vote on: overriding the existing requirements and enabling transferability now or maintaining the current restrictions.
Tornado: Patch Governance & Rebuild Infrastructure
The proposal aims to address a vulnerability and rebuild the affected infrastructure following the recent exploit. The Governance contract will be patched to prevent similar attacks, and three contracts will be redeployed due to dependencies and broken states. Additionally, a portion of TORN tokens will be moved from the Governance contract to the TornadoStakingRewards AdminUpgradeableProxy contract to compensate for lost rewards. The proposal's objectives are to restore community trust in contract security, emphasize the importance of rigorous auditing, and retain control of contract-related tasks internally.
Uniswap: Alastor | w3s - Create a UNI-ARB Working Group
The proposal suggests the establishment of the UNI-ARB Working Group, which will be responsible for governing and advancing the Uniswap ecosystem within the Arbitrum Protocol. The working group will consist of two sub-groups: Protocol Delegates, who will actively participate in Arbitrum governance, and the Ecosystem Fund, which will manage grants and research for projects supporting the Uniswap-Arbitrum ecosystem.
📜 Proposals
PoolTogether: PTBR-1 - Governance Contracts Upgrade/ScopeLift
The proposal by the ScopeLift team seeks a budget to fund the upgrade of PoolTogether DAO's onchain governance contracts. The upgrade aims to address various risks and limitations associated with the current contracts, such as vulnerability to attacks, inability to transfer funds, and limited proposal execution. By implementing an OpenZeppelin variant with ScopeLift's Flexible Voting extension, the upgrade will resolve these issues and allow the DAO to benefit from improved governance integration options.

Nouns: Nouns to fund an MEV relay that saved Ethereum from OFAC censorship dystopia
This proposal suggests that Nouns DAO make a 100 ETH donation to the ultra-sound relay. The proposer argues that the relay, “the largest MEV-boost relay by market share,” has played a crucial role in maintaining Ethereum's censorship-resistant properties and has actively worked to reduce block censorship. The donation would recognize the relay's accomplishments, express Ethereum-aligned values, and attract prospective DAO members who share similar values.

Hop: HOP Airdrop Sybil Hunter Distribution
This proposal aims to reward Sybil hunters who contributed to the removal of Sybil attackers during the launch of the Hop DAO. These hunters not only prevented the attackers from acquiring around 3.5 million tokens but also influenced other airdrops, such as the SAFE airdrop and Arbitrum airdrop, to adopt elements of Hop's airdrop design. The proposal suggests distributing a total of 869,566.51 tokens among 35 recipients using an OpenZeppelin PaymentSplitter contract, with the claim start time aligning with the HOP vesting contracts' start time.

Aave: [ARFC] Add ARB to Arbitrum Aave v3
This proposal aims to add ARB to Aave v3 on Arbitrum, following the successful temperature check. By incorporating ARB into Aave v3 pools, it will increase total value locked (TVL), enhance the user experience, provide additional revenue opportunities for Aave, and align the Aave community with Arbitrum and Ethereum. The proposal includes specific risk parameters for listing ARB and acknowledges the contributions of ChaosLabs and Gauntlet for their recommendations.
