Pyth gives governance power to major funders
According to an article in CoinDesk, oracle service Pyth distributed PYTH governance tokens to over 90,000 crypto wallets in November, aiming to decentralize its governance process. Following a "strategic fundraising" round, several prominent crypto industry players, including venture firms and market makers, have invested in Pyth. These new partners also received PYTH tokens, enabling them to participate in shaping the platform's future development, potentially challenging Chainlink's oracle dominance.
AribitrumDAO Co.Lab has been launched
The DAO Times provides a useful summary of the recent launch of the ArbitrumDAO Co.Lab, an entrepreneurship program developed by ArbitrumDAO and RnDAO that offers six founders a $6,000 fellowship and a $50,000 โventure building programโ grant. The Co. Lab focuses on advancing collaboration technology, with the program looking to address challenges in this space, such as tool integration, scalability, and user adoption. The initiative employs a structured approach to support founders beyond funding, guide their venture-building process, and leverage community connections to foster innovation in decentralized collaboration systems.

1inch: 1inch Network Support Grant Proposal
This proposal seeks funding of approximately $890,000 USDC from the 1inch DAO to provide comprehensive support services for the 1inch Network ecosystem. The services include issue management, documentation maintenance, monitoring reviews, investigation of complex cases, support for token listing/delisting, and participation in conferences. The proposal emphasizes the importance of quality customer support in building brand credibility, user retention, and network expansion. It outlines key performance indicators (KPIs) and a commitment to excellence through a Service Level Agreement (SLA). The services will be delivered by a global team of web3 veterans (unidentified) and cutting-edge automation, including an AI-powered chatbot.
Arbitrum: Support to Establish GrantsDAOs
The Arbitrum Foundation plans to allocate $250,000 to support the establishment of independent GrantDAOs by the Arbitrum community. These GrantDAOs would administer grants directly, subject to certain guidelines, recommendations, and conditions. The goal is to decentralize funding sources and promote resilience within the ecosystem while ensuring legal compliance and transparency.
ENS: Transfer ENS Root Key Ownership to the ENS DAO
ENS will soon enter a particularly active and important voting period. Among the proposals to be put forward is this one, which suggests transferring ownership of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) root key from the current multisig system to the ENS DAO, aiming to decentralize governance further. This transfer will consolidate governance powers, including the ability to create and manage top-level domains other than .eth, update reverse resolutions, and explore domain names on Layer 2 solutions.
KlimaDAO: Klima Foundation
KlimaDAO is proposing a shift from a complex real-world entity model to a streamlined foundation framework to optimize governance and compliance in light of evolving regulations. The Klima Foundation, to be based in the Cayman Islands, will oversee the same mission as KlimaDAO, focusing on decarbonization and revolutionizing carbon markets. The transition aims to enhance decision-making processes and legal compliance while maintaining transparency and sustainability in addressing climate change.
SuperRare: Consolidate Branding of the Protocol and DAO
The SuperRare DAO is discussing three important proposals. This one suggests rebranding the DAO, which is closely associated with SuperRare, to the "Rare Protocol" brand to broaden its scope beyond the SuperRare marketplace. It includes updating token branding on exchanges, changing public venues related to the DAO to use RareDAO or Rare Protocol branding, and updating RareDAO Foundation documents to reflect the new branding. The aim is to clarify the DAO's broader ambitions while maintaining a connection to the SuperRare marketplace.
