1) Deploy Uniswap v3 on Celo

🔤 ELI5: Deploying Uniswap V3 on Celo expands Uniswap access to billions of smartphone users around the world and creates a green use case.

This proposal, put forward by Blockchain at Michigan in partnership with the Celo Foundation and the Celo Climate Collective, aims to launch Uniswap on Celo, linking the power of the decentralized exchange with Celo's mobile-first, carbon-negative blockchain. Among other things, the proposal plans to "create green asset liquidity pools with natural capital-backed assets" and to use Uniswap to "rebalance the Celo Reserve with nature-backed assets," modeling green use cases while making Uniswap more accessible to smartphone users.

“We believe the Uniswap community’s mission of creating a trustless and decentralized financial infrastructure accessible to anyone aligns with Celo’s vision of tackling climate change and achieving prosperity for all.”

2) CityDAO Charter and Operating Agreement

🔤 ELI5: CityDAO Charter defines mission, organization, and rules to guide growth.

CityDAO, which describes itself as the "DAO for decentralized asset ownership" (e.g., for acquiring a piece of land in Wyoming) has established a charter and operating agreement, both overwhelmingly approved via a vote on Snapshot. The charter establishes CityDAO’s vision, mission, and values and clarifies governance and organizational structure, among other things -- while maintaining a decentralized approach and outlook. Separately, the operating agreement is necessary to establish CityDAO as an LLC under Wyoming state law.

3) Incorporation of the Balancer Foundation

🔤 ELI5: Balancer creates a DAO-directed Foundation to interact with other “real world” entities.

After several months of planning and research, the Balancer Foundation Working Group proposed to incorporate the Balancer Foundation, following the model of other DAOs that have successfully created foundations (ENS, dYdX). The Balancer Foundation, led by its CEO (the sole staff member) and acting as an "Agent of the DAO," will help with "meatspace engagements" such as hiring service providers while working to increase the adoption of the Balancer Protocol. (Balancer Protocol describes itself as a non-custodial portfolio manager, liquidity provider, and price sensor.) The Foundation is to be based in the Cayman Islands.

"The Balancer Foundation will provide the DAO with an additional mechanism for executing work, furthering Balancer’s decentralization goals, and building resilience across the Balancer Ecosystem."
